Global Fashion Trends - Fashion From Across The Globe

The Difference Between:

Fashion From Across The Globe

Global fashion Is such a unique, diverse and ever changing topic. What I love so much about fashion is that it is highly influenced by universal trends and fluctuations; this is uniquely visible through colours, textiles and patterns used each season. For example/ The surreal colours which influence the architecture and backdrop of Morocco can be seen persuading the shapes and colours of Kaftans in the past few Spring/Summer collections for many designers.

↟  French Style ↟
Different countries provide fluctuated cultural backgrounds and one thing I absolutely love about the style of the Parisian woman is that it's very laid back, effortless and almost screams "I don't care what you think about me". French style is also very inspired by vintage clothing which they have collected over many years - having that one of a kind statement piece that they bought from a flee market is the 'coolest' thing you could do in the land of the french. You will see the average french girl in a basic men's T-shirt paired with a neck scarf, minimal foundation, a simple red lip and the scent of Chanel No.5 - This is how they do everyday style ⧫
(Did I mention french style is my favourite ever!)

Two books which convey & decode the perfect french style are -

                                                                       ↟  Italian Style ↟
Italian style has got to be my second favourite with their luxurious and classic look. It's all about extravagance - think animal print, bright bold colours,  tailored pieces, cashmere sweaters & embellished heels. Italians invest in high quality clothing & these investments get passed down through generations becoming classic family heirlooms. From the likes of Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino & Prada, it is obvious that Italian fashion is coated in embellishments, jewels, affluent fabrics and overall glamour.

                                                                    ↟ Australian Style ↟
I guess I can't talk about global fashion without mentioning Australia (since I am proudly an Aussie myself). I feel like Australian fashion is heavily influenced by our climate - hot & humid! Our garments are generally designed to be light and breezy to collaborate with our laid back attitudes, and let's be honest, it's to hot to be anything other than that! Swimwear labels (in my opinion) also do amazingly well down under. Beach style is a massive niche in Australia purely because it matches our environment ⧪

Some of my favourite Australian brands are -
Spell Byron Bay | Zimmerman | Witchery | Bec & Bridge | Skye & Staghorn

                                                                        ↟  London, UK Style ↟
So anybody who knows me personally knows that London is my favourite place in the world. I’ve only been there three times but I adore everything about it. From the cobble stone streets coated in rich history to the beautiful Hyde park where nature can exist within the walls of such a high paced, buzzing city. Fashion in the UK is certainly influenced by it's cold and dreary weather. If you Googled a survival guide for London you would note that the items you need most are:

Boots  | Black/grey clothing  |  A sculpted military jacket  |  Numerous trench coats | & A chic Burberry Umbrella (Very English!)  |

Brits style is either absolutely crazy in every amazing way possible, rebellious & edgy, or modern femininity - whilst remaining practical in the unpredictable weather patterns of course⧪
