Victoria's Secret 2018 Lookbook

2018

♥️ Victoria's Secret Fashion Show ♥️

Victoria's Secret.... Where do I even start?

Since I was about 16 I have adored, worshiped and idolized these girls. I see them as hard working women who set a goal and achieve it step by step. They work hard in their careers and they work out even harder; most of them promote a healthy lifestyle and show us that radiating skin and hair essentially starts with what you put in your body. Of course, good genes don't hurt either but hey, that's why they're called supermodels right?

I watched my first show in 2010 and literally re-watched it every single day for like, 2 months! I then started googling the models and saving previous years photos - then, I proceeded to download every year that had gone before and binge watched them over a week! The motivation I get from these girls to go and exercise, eat healthy and look after my skin, hair and nails is unlike anything else. I see them as something larger than life and will also aspire to be an angel - Obviously in a healthy way!☺️

This year marks the end of an era with Adriana Lima officially hanging up her wings after the recording of this years show. After well over a decade with Victoria's Secret, she's the longest serving angel they've ever had. It's safe to say she has made the brand what it is today as an advocate and spokeswomen for the lingerie giant, she really is the quintessential angel. My all time favourite show openings are that of Adriana, Candice and Gisele! Talk about bringing the house down!

My top 4 favourite angels that have graced the runway with their angelic walks and quirky attitudes are Rosie Huntington Whiteley, Candice Swanepoel, Behati Prinsloo and of course, Miranda Kerr (I loveeee Doutzen too)! From their first shows ranging from 2005 - 2007, they were the first angels I watched in 2010 and was instantly mesmerized by their work ethic and overall beauty. Here are some of my favourite looks for these mamma angels (as they're all now mum's!)....

Miranda Kerr

Rosie Huntington Whiteley

Behati Prinsloo

Candice Swanepoel

This years show saw a total of 6 segments with a record breaking 7 possibly 8 performers. The singers this year are some of the best i've ever seen on the show (besides Usher of course!); their songs are up beat, electrifying and fun to dance to - this is something Victoria's Secret has really been lacking in the past few years. Next up .... the MODELS!!! I'm not overly eager to see Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner get all of the undeserved attention again this year - however, i'm over the moon that models like Candice Swanepoel, Behati Prinsloo, Barbara Palvin, Shanina Shaike and Toni Garn are back strutting their stuff on the runway this year. Some new models that i'm excited to see are Pink girls such as Kelsey Merritt, Sofie Rovenstine and Alannah Walton.

To see my favourite looks from the show search no further, below are my top picks for the most beautiful outfits listed by segment as well!

P.s. My favourite segments were Downtown Angels, Celestial Angels and Glam Royal minus the opening song for that last segment (terrible choice VS!)
